The church's food pantry has experienced tremendous demand. Even though every effort is made to completely replenish the shelves each week, the requests exceed the supply. The church contributes thousands of dollars each quarter to the food pantry, and receives supplemental funding from individual donations and the Southern Baptist Convention World Hunger Fund. Also, local businesses and schools have been generous in donations. The church's Ministry Team is currently evaluating the process to provide assurances that the truly needy are able to have food.

The church recently received a thank you note from an area senior citizen which expresses all the motivation we need to continue this ministry: "Dear Friends in Christ, Once again I would like to thank you for the wonderful food supply you delivered to my apartment (she is homebound), everything was very much appreciated. I do hope and pray that I am not taking it away from any body who is in more need than me. Thanks again."
